This competency is assessed in an holistic way.

As all these elements, skills and knowledge are required throughout all phases of business/office administration in the business sector of industry the Society has incorporated assessment throughout all the computer-based examinations by way of a task consisting of true/false, multiple choice or short answer questions based on this competency.

By being successful in all the examinations of the competencies required to attain a Certificate II or III in Business Administration, and gaining a Pass in the individual task relating to OHS each time, candidates will have fulfilled all the requirements of this competency.

Third party reporting on candidates physically observing Occupational Health and Safety is possible by the use of the document “Skills and Techniques Checklist” which is included in all computer-based examinations and where the Supervisor is required to observe the candidate doing something and judging whether that candidate is competent in doing so. Marks are awarded for participation in OHS processes.
